ALCESTER Grammar School students impressed at the annual county level Inter-Area Cross Country Championships at Kineton High School.
With more than 150 students competing from more than ten schools across the county, it was a very tough field from the outset.
All AGS students did themselves proud and eight in particular performed extremely well and have now been selected to represent the county in the upcoming regional Inter-Area Championships on Saturday, November 12 at Sandwell Valley Country Park.
The eight are year seven’s Jamie Robinson, Arthur Trotter, Christopher Hunt, Ruben Herdman and Grace Golinski, year nine’s Michael O’Rourke and year ten’s Cameron Palmer and Rhys Mahon.
A school spokesman said: “This is a great achievement for all of the aforementioned students and the highest number that Alcester Grammar School have seen go through to represent the county in any one year. Congratulations and good luck!”
