YOUNG badminton players are being encouraged to enter the annual Warwickshire Restricted Doubles tournament next month.
The event takes place on Saturday, February 7 at St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre in Warwick and is open to all players outside of the full county squads, so players who only play at school are welcome to enter.
There are separate events for boys, girls and, for the first time, mixed at U11, U13, U15 and U17 age groups.

Popular local club Alveston Juniors are concentrating on doubles tactics this month at their weekly Stratford and Leamington sessions and prospective players are encouraged to contact the club through www.alvestonjuniors.co.uk about coaching.
