STRATFORD-UPON-AVON & District Boxing Academy continued their run of great results with two more wins.

Kai Johansen was fighting for the first time since his narrow loss in the Midlands Final as he took on Niall Hatton of Tamworth Boxing Club.

Johansen produced a dominate performance in every round and was deservedly given an unanimous points victory.

Head coach Mat Pickering said: “It’s great to have Kai back to winning ways and in my opinion this was his best performance to date.”

Jordan Lee boxed for the first time this season against Peter Riley of Small Heath ABC.

Lee was skilful and dominant in the opening and closing rounds and won on a split decision.

Pickering added: “This was a great performance from Jordan. He boxed superbly early on behind the jab, the second round was closer but he went to boxing in the third. Well done Jordan.”
