LEAMINGTON are counting down the days to their National League North curtain-raiser, after the kick-off date for the 2021/22 season was announced.
Paul Holleran’s men will make a long-awaited return to competitive action on Saturday, August 14, which will bring an end to the 189 days, by that point, since their last outing against Hereford in the FA Trophy back in early February.
As far as the league is concerned, the Brakes have been grounded even longer still, playing their final National League North fixture of the curtailed 2020/21 season against Chorley on January 12.
The National League will get underway a week later, on August 21, with full fixture lists and further key dates for Steps One and Two of the non-League ladder, to be confirmed in due course.
