ROUNDERS teams in Stratford are looking for more players to join them in getting fit this summer.
The Leagues4you Stratford Rounders Fun League is already in full swing and teams are encouraging men and women of all abilities and ages (14+) to get involved.
Leagues4you run sporting fun leagues across the UK, involving more than 3,100 players.
Co-ordinator Beth Pickering said the aim is to get people back into sport by making it as hassle-free as possible.
“Many of our teams are a group of like-minded people who were once strangers. We provide all the equipment and umpire, so all you need to do is turn up and play! The cost is £32 per team per match, with no sign-up or affiliation fees.”
Matches are 45 minutes and run between 6.30pm and 9pm on Wednesday evenings at Stratford School. The season runs until September.
