Henley Forest U14s are kitted out in style

Stratford Editorial 9th Oct, 2017   0

THE NEWLY-FORMED U14s team at Henley Forest FC have celebrated their flying start to the season by unveiling their new kit and sponsor.

The boys, backed by Dermot Corrigan, of Wootton Wawen General Stores, posed for photographs to show off the new colours and design following their match with Racing Club Warwick at the weekend.

Henley Forest chairman Russell Cox said: “We are incredibly grateful to Dermot for sponsoring this new team and are very pleased with the new look, which the boys chose themselves after much deliberation!

“Henley Forest is working hard within the Henley area to provide a quality grassroots football club that can bring a sense of worth to young people of all ages.

“We will attain FA Charter Standard status before the end of the year which will affirm our commitment to the sport and are now actively inviting children under seven and eight to train with us to form a new youth team.”

The Henley Forest junior teams train every Thursday evening, either at the Henley Memorial Ground or Warwickshire College astro pitches. Contact Russ Cox for more information on 07711 350970.
