There's no stopping star Corder

Stratford Editorial 14th Dec, 2017   0

STRATFORD Cycling Club ace Spencer Corder was crowned U12s champion at the inaugural West Midlands Championships on the fast Top Barn circuit, near Worcester.

Having dominated the West Midlands Cyclo-Cross League this season with victories in all 11 races so far, Corder’s success was unsurprising.

However, it was not so predictable that team-mate Alex Burden would come home third and that Zoe Parker would finish third in the girls’ event.

She was again supported by Harriet Tinsley who finished seventh.

In the senior ladies race, Stratford’s Alison Bagnall was second and Julieann Parker third in their sections.

Ruben Stringfellow was fourth in the U10s event, Tamsin Moss sixth in the U8s and Jonathan Masters 14th in the tough U14s class.

Two of the club’s consistent veterans – Carl Max Taylor and Robin Corder – were 14th and 38th respectively in their categories.
