WILMCOTE were crowned Stratford & District Airgun League champions with a final total of 26 points from 14 matches.
Binton A finished runners-up with 23 points at an average of 225.71 per match, which was enough to leave Avon third as they too ended with 23 points at an average of 224.15.
Wilmcote have now won the LC Docker Cup for four consecutive seasons.
Will Cemis has been trying all season to add to his tally of possibles and in Binton A’s 218-215 victory at Home Guard he eventually succeeded.
Meanwhile, Avon’s Nick Williams shot his fourth possible in eight weeks in the 218-200 win at MEB.
Williams tops the Baildham averages and Andy Smith, who also has four possibles under his belt, is in second place with Jamie Clarke third.
Wilmcote finished the season with bulls and fours but no possibles in their 227-200 victory at Binton B. High scorers for the visitors were Graham East and Lester Langford with 34s.
Avenue and visitors Clifford had a quick match as both teams were short of shooters. It was not a high-scoring game overall though as Jay Morris (Clifford, 33) was unlucky not to get his first possible when he shot a three in the middle of six bulls, whilst Steve Garlick (Avenue) also shot 33.
The Webley Shield competition was due to start last night (Thursday).
